These delicate Snowflake Cut Out Sugar Cookies are perfect for a Christmas cookie platter! This easy cookie recipe is fun to decorate, and even better to eat!

It’s time to start busting out all those Christmas cookies and I am kicking it off by sharing one of my favorite classic recipes – Snowflake Sugar Cookies!

Of course you can make these into any shape, but snowflakes are just so cheery and special. I’m sure I feel that way since I live in Florida and all of our snowflakes are fake. :-)

When dreaming of my future kids, I always used to imagine making cookies with them — especially Christmas cookies. When Ellie and Lyla came along, my dream more than came true. I gave birth to two cookie loving little girls!

They love to squish cookie dough, eat cookie dough, wear cookie dough and everything in between. Then after the cookies are baked, they will happily help me eat the whole dozen.

These cut out sugar cookies feature my favorite recipe for cut out sugar cookies. They are super quick to make (you don’t even have to chill the dough — as long as you work fast) and hold their shape perfectly. Plus, they taste good with the almond and vanilla extracts!
