You get to look like the hostess with the mostess for just a few dollars. Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. Plus, if any of your friends are on a diet, you can tell them these drinks are naturally vegan and gluten free. Just don’t mention they are made with candy. Deal?

Jolly Rancher Shot Ingredients

To start, you want to make your jolly rancher infused vodka. It’s incredibly easy to make and only requires 2 ingredients. The jolly rancher vodka can be used to make your jolly rancher drink, but it also makes a delicious, but not too sweet, Jolly Rancher Shot!

Here’s what you need:

  • Jolly Ranchers: You can use any flavor jolly rancher candy that you love.
  • Vodka: Grab a bottle of your favorite plain vodka. You can also use any liquor you prefer, such as gin, vodka, tequila, etc.

How To Make Jolly Rancher Shots

Separate: Divide your jolly ranchers into different flavors and unwrap them. Place them in jars with lids.

Add The Vodka: Evenly divide the vodka between each flavor of jolly rancher and screw the lids onto the jars.

Rest: Let the jars sit for 24 hours, shaking when you happen to you think about it. This will help the candies to dissolve completely.

Serve Or Store: You can then use the jolly rancher flavored vodka however you would like. You can serve it by itself as a shot (I prefer it chilled) or you can use it to make my favorite frozen jolly rancher drink!

Frozen Jolly Rancher Drink Ingredients

If you want to take your jolly rancher infused vodka to the next level, grab your blender to make this easy frozen jolly rancher drink! I like to call them Boozy Jolly Rancher Slushies!

Here’s what you need:

  • Jolly Rancher Infused Vodka
  • Ice
  • Sprite: you can use any type of mixer you want, I find sprite works great by not overpower the jolly rancher flavor of the vodka.

How To Make A Jolly Rancher Drink

Blend: Add jolly rancher vodka, ice and sprite to a blender. Blend until smooth and enjoy!

Enjoy: No really, it’s that easy! I store the different flavors of jolly rancher vodka in separate jars so party guests can easily pick their flavor and whip up a jolly rancher drink whenever they would like!

Can I Make These Ahead?

You can make the jolly rancher shots weeks ahead if you would like, it stores great! It’s ready to serve as a shot as soon as it’s chilled.

The jolly rancher drink sadly can’t be made ahead, unless you have a large frozen drink machine to keep it chilled and icy. However, it is very easy to whip up a single cocktail or batches as needed!

How To Store:

You can store your jolly rancher infused vodka in an airtight container for up to a few months. I store mine in the fridge if I am going to keep it around for a while, I honestly don’t know that it’s necessary to do that, but at least you have cold jolly rancher vodka ready and waiting should the mood strike!

Alcohol-Free Kid Version:

If your kids are anything like my kids, they will want your jolly rancher drink. I mean, why wouldn’t they — look at them, they are so festive!

To make an alcohol free version, I dissolve 10 of the same color jolly ranchers in a cup of water (in place of the vodka). Then just follow the rest of the directions to make a kid version of this fun cocktail!
