Who’s excited to say goodbye to 2017 and HELLO 2018!

I honestly had a wonderful 2017. Sure there were some downs, but there were many more highs.

It was a wonderful year for our family and it’s bittersweet to say goodbye.

My girls turned three and are coming more into their own every day.

They started preschool this year which has been great for our family as a whole.

I have had much more time to devote to work: creating videos and many fun recipes for all of you.

Ellie and Lyla have both grown, matured and fallen in love with going to school every day and making friends.

While my 2017 was great, I am always excited to usher in the new year.

It’s a clean start with a fresh new calendar full of goals and good intentions. It doesn’t hurt that it always starts with my favorite cocktail — champagne!

We are having a little get together New Years Eve with lots of appetizers and drinks to go around.

I will be making these Strawberry Champagne Floats and my famous Baked Mustard, Ham and Cheese Sliders!

These Strawberry Champagne Floats are crazy fancy looking, but I promise they are equally as easy to make.

Total, you only need 5 ingredients. And if you are EXTRA short on time you can even use store bought ice cream.

However, I promise you won’t regret making your own no-churn strawberry ice cream.

It takes about 10 minutes to whip together and has amazing flavor from the fresh strawberries and sweetened condensed milk.

It’s extra creamy and makes a perfect base for the champagne float.
