Excuse me while I weep into my sorbet, but I just addressed the invitations for the girls first birthday. HOW?
I know every Mom says it, but I swear to you a year hasn’t gone by. I believe someone has been shaving hours off each day. (Which is also where all my sleep went.)
Now, combine that with the non stop Jurassic Park marathon that has been happening at our house (thanks, Jorge)…and you can understand why I am a bit on edge.
Every night in the shower I am convinced a raptor is going to come in and get me.
To comfort me, I wanted ice cream. It makes a great snack to accompany me into bed to watch dinosaurs kill people.
However, I wasn’t looking for all the added calories. I mean, eating in bed is bad enough without it being 100 billion calories.
You can use this recipe as a basic recipe to make any berry flavored sorbets, just adjust the sugar a little accordingly.
With raspberries, I would use a little more sugar. With berries that are already super sweet, a little less. 😉

One year old……………………………goodness it seems like you just had them. Well, if it makes you feel any better, my baby is going to turn 18 in October. GULP. Yep, you think one is bad, just wait. Just ENJOY them like crazy.
