Fried Pickles Recipe

What are fried pickles?

Fried Pickles with crispy, and well-seasoned breading are quick and easy to make. Pair with ranch for dipping and watch them disappear!


You'll need pickles, flour, seasonings, and a few other simple ingredients to make this easy recipe.

Step 1. Lay the drained, sliced pickles out on a baking sheet lined with paper towels.

Step 2. Pat the tops dry with another paper towel, then set the baking sheet aside.

Step 3. Whisk together the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and baking powder.

Step 4. Beat the milk and eggs together. Then dip the pickles into the flour mixture, the egg mixture, and then the flour again.

Step 5. Lower the pickles into the hot oil, and let them cook for 1 – 2 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

Step 6. Use a slotted spoon to lift the pickles out of the oil, and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.

Serve your homemade fried pickles with freshly chopped parsley and ranch, if desired. Enjoy!
