Frog Eye Salad

What is frog eye salad?

Don't worry, there are no frog eyes in this salad! This is a 1970's recipe and the name comes from the tiny round pasta used for the salad.


You'll need acini de pepe, egg yolks, pineapple, oranges and a few other simple ingredients.

Step 1. Cook the pasta and make the pudding.

Step 2. Combine cooked pasta with the thickened pudding.

Step 3. Refrigerate for an hour, then stir in pineapple, oranges, cool whip, marshmallows and coconut

Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve. Bon appetite!
