HALLOWEEN HOT COCOA BOMBS

WHAT ARE HALLOWEEN HOT COCOA BOMBS?

A sweet candy melt shell is filled with hot cocoa mix, purple sanding sugar, candy eyes and fluffy mini marshmallows.  Once each cocoa bomb is placed into warm milk, the shell melts and releases the fillings. Stir it up for a rich, smooth drink! 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Candy Melts Purple Food Coloring Cocoa Powder Mix Purple Sanding Sugar Candy Eyes Mini Marshmallows

Step 1. Microwave the candy melts in 30 second intervals until melted, stirring in between.

Step 2. Add purple food coloring to one bowl of white candy melts.  Spoon a tablespoon of each color into the silicone molds.

Step 3. Gently swirl the colors together.  Place into the fridge or freezer to set for 15-20 minutes.

Step 4. Carefully remove the shells from the molds. Spoon cocoa powder and other fillings into 6 shell halves.

Step 5. Warm a plate in the microwave, then place the empty shell halves on it, edge-down.  Let the edges warm to create a glue.

Step 6. Place the empty shells on top of the filled halves and seal together.

To serve, place Hot Cocoa Bombs into mugs and pour warm milk over top.  Let them dissolve, stir and enjoy!
