Strawberry Icebox Cake

What is an icebox cake?

“Icebox” is an old-timey word for refrigerator. Icebox cakes are refrigerator cakes: soft, sweet desserts that have to be chilled to get a cakey texture!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

You'll need graham crackers, strawberries, and a few other simple ingredients to make this easy recipe.

Step 1. In a large bowl, combine the cream and powdered sugar. Beat until soft peaks have formed.

Step 2. Place a layer of graham crackers on the bottom of an 8×8 inch baking dish.

Step 3. Spread a thick layer of whipped cream on top, then arrange the strawberry slices.

Step 4. Continue layering crackers, whipped cream, and strawberry slices until baking dish is filled up.

Step 5. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and place it in the fridge to chill.

When ready to serve, cut into pieces, grab a slice, and dig in!
