Tzatziki sauce is a creamy yogurt sauce from Greece. Traditionally it’s made with goat’s milk or sheep’s milk, but in the US Greek yogurt is the go-to substitute.
There are only 6 ingredients in tzatziki sauce: cucumber, Greek yogurt, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, dill and salt.
1. Grate the cucumber. 2. Mix all the ingredients together. 3. Chill in the fridge for 2 hours. 4. Dig in!
Tzatziki is traditionally served as a spread with gyros, or as a dipping sauce for pita bread or kabobs. But you can use it for other things too!
