Homemade Tomato Jam is both sweet and tangy and tastes amazing on just about everything! A simple classic recipe that you’ve gotta have during the spring and summer seasons!

Ingredients
5poundsRoma tomatoes, diced
1 ½cupgranulated sugar
½white onion, diced
¼cupapple cider vinegar
2tablespoonslemon juice

Instructions
Add all the ingredients to a large pot or Dutch oven and stir to combine.
Bring it to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 10 minutes.
Then lower the heat to low and let it simmer, uncovered, until jam has thickened, about 1 to 1 ½ hours. Make sure to stir the jam every so often, about every 30 minutes, to ensure even cooking.
Serve warm on toasted baguette slices with fresh basil, for garnish.
Notes
Storage: To store this recipe, let the tomato jam cool completely before storing it in an airtight container or jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. You can also freeze tomato jam for up to six months. It makes a great gift!
