Salsa Verde Chicken

This Mexican salsa recipe is made of green ingredients like jalapenos and cilantro. It's usually spicy, but the heat can also be toned down.

Step 1. Place the chicken inside a greased baking dish.

Step 2. Whisk together the salsa verde, green chiles, garlic, jalapeno, cumin, oregano, and lime juice, and pour it over the chicken.

Step 3. Cover the baking dish with foil and pop it in the oven for 25 minutes. Then remove the foil for the remaining 10 minutes.

Step 4. Remove it from the oven and let the chicken rest before serving. Sprinkle with cilantro to taste.

Serve your chicken over rice, or shred the meat for tacos. To tone down the heat, try adding avocado!
