Drunken Cherries in Amaretto are a gorgeous, indulgent treat! Boozy maraschino cherries are soaked in amaretto liqueur, and then dipped in white chocolate and almonds.

Ingredients
10ozjar maraschino cherries with stems
8ozAmaretto liqueur
6ozwhite chocolate, melted
¼cupsliced almonds, finely chopped

Instructions
Drain the maraschino cherries. Return to jar and pour in amaretto, making sure to fully cover the cherries.
Seal jar and let sit for 12 hours or overnight.
Drain the cherries. Transfer to a few sheets of paper towel and pat gently to dry.
Melt the white chocolate. Dip each cherry into white chocolate, ¾ of the way, then roll in sliced almonds.
Place on parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate until chocolate is set.

Notes
Storage: Store the dipped cherries in the fridge for up to 2 days, but I think they are best within the first 12 hours. If cherries are not dipped in chocolate, they can be stored in the amaretto, in the fridge, for up to 3 months.
