Instructions
Separate the buns and slice them open. Top with pulled pork and a spoon of BBQ sauce.
Combine the ingredients of the slaw in a bowl. Place a large spoon of slaw on the BBQ pork.
Place the tops on the sandwiches and serve with pickles.
Notes
Storage and Freezing: Store the pork and slaw separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Freshly-made pulled pork can be frozen for up to three months.
Toasted Sliders: If you like, you can toast these sliders in the oven before adding the coleslaw. Set the oven to 375°F and bake the pulled pork sliders for 10 minutes. If you want, you can also add cheese - I’d recommend sliced provolone.
Buns: While I like using Hawaiian rolls, any small, slider-sized buns or rolls are fine, too.
Pulled Pork: This is a great way to use up leftover pulled or shredded pork that you may have stored in your freezer. Store-bought pulled pork is also great!
Barbecue Sauce: My favorite sauce is Sweet Baby Ray’s, but feel free to use any sauce that you love.
Shredded Cabbage: To make things even easier, you can substitute a bag of cabbage slaw with carrots for the shredded cabbage.
