Notes
How to Store: Place any leftover dip in a tight-lidded container, jar, or a zip-top bag. Refrigerate for up to a week.
How to Freeze: Homemade marshmallow fruit dip can be frozen in an airtight freezer container or freezer bag for up to one month. Thaw in the fridge before serving.
Dairy-Free Option: You can substitute your favorite vegan cream cheese in this recipe if you would like to avoid regular cream cheese. Cultured cream cheese (lactose-free) will also work.
Strawberry: Growing up, this dip was always pink! Our moms would either use strawberry-flavored marshmallow fluff, or dye it with a little red food coloring. You could also use strawberry Jello powder.
Colorful Fruit Dip: You can also use other food colorings, like blue or green, for a festive colored dip that matches your event theme. Green fruit dip for St. Patrick’s Day, anyone?
Cannoli: Make a quicker version of my Chocolate Orange Cannoli Dip by adding orange zest and mini chocolate chips to this basic recipe.
Boozy Fruit Dip: Add your favorite liqueur for a grown-up treat. Kahlua, Bailey’s, limoncello, amaretto… the possibilities are endless!
