If there’s one drive thru you will always see my big suburban in, it’s Chick Fil A. And if I’m having a bad day, you can expect me to order the chicken strips with Chick Fil A sauce and my favorite Chick Fil A Cookies & Cream Milkshake.
Jorge and I are obsessed with this milkshake and have been for years. We usually get one to split and then fight over it the whole way home. Thankfully he is crazy and doesn’t like cherries, so at least I always get it.
Over the years I have worked on perfecting the perfect Copycat Chick Fil A Cookies & Cream Milkshake. It took some time and work, but I think I have it down to a science.
I will only use french vanilla ice cream and always add a little extra vanilla extract to my cookies & cream milkshake.
But the biggest and best tip? You have to let the ice cream sit on the counter and melt a little. I usually let mine sit on the counter for about 15 minutes. You know it’s ready to go when you can easily measure it out in a measuring cup.
Watch the video above to see how easily this Copycat Chick Fil A Cookies & Cream Milkshake comes together. You really only need 4 ingredients, the whipped cream and cherry are just extra!
While the original is perfect…every now and then we like to swap in different flavored oreos. The birthday cake oreos are a personal favorite of mine, and Jorge loves the peanut butter or mint oreos in his!
